Cooler temps can be great for a walk. Walked 3 miles today and with layered clothes I was set for the November weather. I noticed today less people on the trail, it rained in the morning. With clothes to break the wind I was quite comfortable. Bitter cold may be another story but temperatures in the 30's and 40's can be just right for walking. The key is dressing for it.
My pace today was fast and a real boost for energy and health.
Earlier I went to a men's prayer breakfast and ate a great breakfast without over eating. Shared thoughts on Luke 7:11-17. One point of interest for the blog is the 25 mile walk Jesus took to get to Nain where the miracle took place. The miracle is a great story of compassion and restoration of life but little do we consider the walk involved. For many of us a walk from the Sea of Galilee to Nain would involve moving up and down some inclines and would be a challenge. How many of us would have lagged behind and missed the whole miracle?
My 3 mile walk doesn't even come close but it was still very good for me.
Keep walking
